Very nice!!

I like it. Simple and catchy. I'm not much into trance.. I'd say it "lacks a little variety"? It can become a little repetitive.. but I like how you made those pauses, taking out the drum beat at some points.

When the piano came in I thought it'd change the rythm, but well.. I guess that didn't happen =/

Anyways, I think it's very nice, specially for a 1st try. Keep on trying, it may take some time getting used to it. Good job overall :)

[FF9 Pandemonium Castle RMX]

Too calm..

..at least for my tastes. I won't detract much from the song just because I like the original's feel better. I like those stong organs, church bells and those sort of things which give the original song a tense and gothic feel.

Anyway, this calm version of the song isn't bad either. It's also one of my favorites and I too will remake it eventually XD I think this one is rather simple, but good for background music. Very nice overall =)

I'm not sure what style of 8-bit song I want to do next... maybe something slower, like a "HEY YOU JUST WON THE GAME" and/or "Ending Credits" theme...

An this also does! Man it's so great! Really, and to think you created it yourself...
I have some minor problems making my own music now but I'm trying with short loops :P

Where did you get those drums and sounds? Is it a VST plugin like Syntendo, Magical 8 bit or any other or are those soundfonts like "Nes Advance" (I think it was something like that...) .. one that weights 40GB and I'll never ever be able to get D:

Anyways, I love 8-bit songs and even if I didn't I'd still vote 10!

The music channels are done with Magical 8-bit Plugin, just tweaking the parts here and there for different sounds. The plugin is free online.
The drums are done with Toad nes drums v1.3 , which can be found for free as well!
I hadn't heard of Syntendo before, I'm definitely going to try it out.

I liked the sax and the chorus/organ at the background :)
Also, the drums were implemented greatly IMO.

I love Dragon Ball Z ! It was one of my favorite shows when I was younger XD specially Freezer's Saga =D
Nice recreation. The original one was faster and full of energy, and I think you did good experimenting and giving it a calm and soft feel.
